So what do you do exactly?
We take your existing design (PSD, PNG, etc) and transform it into valid, high quality, hand-coded (x)HTML/CSS markup.
What does your service include?
An order for static coding includes cutting up the design, optimizing the images for size and presentation, coding the design into (x)HTML/CSS. Rollover, drop down menus and basic Javascript are all included in the price. An order for CMS or blog coding includes the above plus the final template or skin for the selected CMS.
Difference between a Design and a Page?
A design is the general layout we receive, and a page (or subpage) is a variant of that design that still maintains 50% or more of the original structure.
Multiple page discount?
Yep. Subpages are billed at just $65 for the first subpage, $60 for the second, and just $55 for each page following. For orders of 6 or more pages, this may be further reduced.
What about print pages?
We’d love to! We’ll need a design layout of how you’d like the print page to look - print pages are billed as subpages.
How and when do I pay?
We require a $100 deposit on your work before we begin. Once your project is complete, we’ll send you the coded files; payment is due on receipt. Payments are done via PayPal or googleCheckout, and from the point of final payment we provide 30 days of active code level support.
Do you offer discounts for bulk or repeat work orders?
Yes. We offer discounts based on volume; the greater the volume, the larger the discount
Do you offer support?
You bet we do. We provide 30 days of code level support, and permanent passive support. We typically turn changes around in 24 hours, but never more than 48.
How long does it take?
We turn around PSD to HTML in two days (additional subpages may increase order turn around), code for CMS depends on the CMS and turn around times can be seen on our front page. Orders are processed, started, and worked on during business hours (10AM-5PM PST M-F), orders placed after 3PM MST will be started the following business day.
What about accessibility guidelines?
Our code is compliant with Section 508 / DDA / and WCAG1.0 level 2 (AA) checkpoints.
Mobile and non-standard devices?
We can optimize for mobile usage according to mobile guidelines, and write new code specifically for the Nintendo Wii and Nintendo DS. Contact us with your requirements.
Is your code cross browser compatible?
Yes. Our code is checked and written for Internet Explorer 6/7, Opera, FireFox, Safari, and Konqueror.
