Hello everyone.
We’ll be out of the office on Friday 8/8/08 (tomorrow). We previously posted a little blurb on our order form just to let anyone placing an order know we’d be out on Friday, but now it’s time to let everyone know. If you don’t get an answer to an email on Friday, this is why. Don’t worry though, we won’t forget about you.
We’ll be back bright and early on Monday, so don’t miss us too much.
So what will we be doing with our 3 day weekend? Partying? Boating? Hardly. Work work work! We’ve two new projects in the work, and it’s time for us to kick it into gear. Over the next three days we’ll get a design, and a prototype up and running for both services.

Update: This was completed April 26th, 2008
We are switching over to full Google apps for our email services, and there will be some redirection of email while this is in progress. If you experience an unexpected delay in receiving a reply from one of the CSSRockstars staff, please be patient.
No emails will be lost, but some will be arriving on the old/new server while others will not during the transition. Once it’s complete we’ll run a compare to make sure all emails were received and answered appropriately. Maximum email delay should be no more than 5-6 hours.

CSSRockstars (TwentySixMedia) and it’s employes will be shutting off the lights and non essential systems tonight from 8 to 9PM MST tonight as a part of the Earth Hour awareness campaign.
On March 29, 2008 at 8 p.m., join millions of people around the world in making a statement about climate change by turning off your lights for Earth Hour, an event created by the World Wildlife Fund.
Earth Hour was created by WWF in Sydney, Australia in 2007, and in one year has grown from an event in one city to a global movement. In 2008, millions of people, businesses, governments and civic organizations in nearly 200 cities around the globe will turn out for Earth Hour. More than 100 cities across North America will participate, including the US flagships–Atlanta, Chicago, Phoenix and San Francisco and Ottawa, Montreal, Toronto and Vancouver. View cities involved around the world.
We invite everyone throughout North America and around the world to turn off the lights for an hour starting at 8 p.m. (your own local time)–whether at home or at work, with friends and family or solo, in a big city or a small town.
What will you do when the lights are off? We have lots of ideas.
Join people all around the world in showing that you care about our planet and want to play a part in helping to fight climate change. Don’t forget to sign up and let us know you want to join Earth Hour.
One hour, America. Earth Hour. Turn out for Earth Hour!
We invite you to join us and millions around the globe in raising awareness and making a difference this Saturday evening.

After removing Drupal from the supported CMS order list, we’ve received a fair out pouring of requests to bring it back. You asked, and we heard. Our next system update will bring back Drupal and add PHPBB3 as coding options.
Price point for PHPBB3 has not yet been set. Drupal will retain it’s previous $259 rate.

We announced a short while ago we would be updating our supported platform line soon. It took a little longer to figure out price points and arrange the most efficient coding practices, but we are finally there.
In addition to adding several new platforms, we’ll be removing a few as well. Blogger, Drupal, and X-Cart will no longer be available as selections during checkout. We will continue to offer coding for these platforms on a per request basis, so please contact us if you need theming for any of these platforms.

February 23rd, 2008
As mentioned last week, we’ve decided to add coding and support for several new platforms. As of Tuesday the 26th we’ll have VBulletin, Vanilla, and PrestaShop as available coding options.
Prices for the new platforms have not yet been nailed down, but will be finalized shortly as will turn around time.
We are beginning development on a brand new and completely custom order, support, and project management system. Right now we manage most of our orders through project pier or email (depending on needs and size), and while we’ve not yet had any difficulties we’d love to streamline the process and improve order and delivery clarity. Specs and information on the system will be released as it undergoes development and gets closer to realization.
As some of you know Callie and I (with contributions from Mike and Shane) have been working on a book about beginning CSS and HTML for some time. We’re optimistic about releasing it to print before the end of the year but some portions of the book we want to hold off on until the IE8 beta has been released. In the mean time we’ll be reformatting bits of the book into a tutorial series here on CSSRockstars. The first posts should arrive within a few weeks and grow every week or so for the foreseeable future.
We’ll be releasing a few Wordpress themes here shortly, so check back in a couple days.
I think that covers everything for now, Cheers!

We are currently supporting 8 of the biggest CMS, Blogging engines, and eCommerce platforms. Over the next few weeks we’ll be adding support for a number of new platforms including Vanilla, PrestaShop, VBulletin, and Magento among others.
We’ll be adding Vanilla and PrestaShop before the end of the month, with more to follow every few weeks. Right now we are tuning our development process for each system and working out a proper price point.
If you have any suggestions on systems you would like to see us directly support, please leave a comment with information about the system and a link.
